PriceGuard AI ("the app") is a ticket-market pricing intelligence tool. This page explains what data the app handles and how.
You can create an account with an email/password, or sign in with Google or Apple. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your name, email address, and profile photo (if available) — this is provided directly by Google/Apple and is standard for "Sign in with" services.
All account data (profile, activity history, saved analysis settings) is stored locally on your device. There is no PriceGuard AI server or database — we do not have a copy of your data on any server we control, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
The app fetches publicly available event and ticket pricing data from SeatGeek and Ticketmaster to power its analysis features. This is public market data, not personal data.
The in-app chat advisor can use OpenAI's API if you choose to provide your own OpenAI API key. That key is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. If you use this feature, your chat messages are sent directly from your device to OpenAI to generate a response, subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
You can delete your account and all associated local data at any time from the app's Command Center menu ("Delete Account"). This immediately and permanently removes your profile and activity history from your device.
