PathFuse AI ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI career navigator for students and job seekers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name and email address, provided directly or via Google/Apple Sign-In.
Content you create: resumes, cover letters, and career analyses you generate or save in the app.
LinkedIn data: if you use the LinkedIn integration, the profile URL you provide and publicly available profile information retrieved from it.
Job search data: job descriptions, saved job listings, and application status you track in the app.
Chat and interview content: messages you send to the AI Career Coach, and spoken answers during Mock Interview practice (audio is transcribed to text and is not stored as audio after transcription).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the app's features: generating resumes and cover letters, analyzing job matches and keyword gaps, powering the AI chat and mock interview tools, and letting you save and revisit your work in your Library. We do not sell your data.

Sharing With Third-Party AI & Processing Services

Some features work by sending the specific data below to named third-party services, only when you actively use that feature. Before you can use any of these features, the app shows an in-app screen naming these services and what's sent, and asks you to explicitly agree before anything is transmitted.

These providers process this data solely to return a result to you (a chat reply, an analysis, a transcription, a translation, or profile data) and under their own privacy/security terms. We don't share your account information (name, email) with these providers beyond what's needed to process the specific request.

Other Service Providers

Supabase — database hosting and authentication for all your account and saved data.
Apple / Google — only if you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, to verify your identity.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained until you delete it. You can delete individual saved items at any time in your Library, or permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

PathFuse AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your data at any time from within the app. For any other privacy requests, contact us using the details below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
